WHAT IS THIS WEBSITE?

This is the website of former Medford City Council candidate Nicholas ("Nick") Giurleo. Nick ran in the 2025 election. Although he lost, he decided that he would not quit on the city he loves and has dedicated himself to posting regular updates on Medford politics to keep residents informed. His effort began on his campaign Facebook page, but in order to expand the accessibility of his content decided to convert his campaign website into another platform for publishing his thoughts.

This is not a news website, although Nick attempts to outline the issues objectively and leaves opinion formulation to his readers. To the extent Nick offers his own takes he tries to make that clear by noting "Nick's POV."

The website is currently divided into five pages: Council Reports, Zoning, City Services, Financial, and Miscellaneous. 

Council Reports provide summaries of the City Council's meetings, including regular meetings, special meetings, and committee meetings.

Zoning keeps residents up to date on land use issues in Medford, including activities of the Community Development Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, and City Council.

City Services focuses on issues pertaining to city services in Medford and how they are affected by leadership decisions.

Financial is a page dedicated to money matters in Medford, including budgeting and spending.

Miscellaneous is a catch-all category that covers anything that does not neatly fit into the above.

Nick runs this page himself but considers his project a collaborative endeavor. Please contact Nick with any questions, comments, or suggestions.

Nick Giurleo is West Medford's Neighborhood Ambassador

Nick Giurleo was appointed by the Mayor of Medford to be West Medford's Neighborhood Ambassador. The city's Neighborhood Ambassadors meet monthly with the administration to communicate issues affecting residents across the city.
